IISER Pune, is one among the new institutions devoted to science education and research that will be a Greenfield project on a virgin site adjacent to NCL Campus between Pashan and Baner Road, Pune. It will be devoted to under-graduate and post-graduate teaching in sciences in an intellectually vibrant atmosphere of research. The site extent is about 98.0 Acres centrally located with approximate distance of 6 Km from the city center. The Campus is planned in two zones one is Academic and another is Residential. The entire campus will be built in phases. The total built up area will be about 1,60000Sqm and project schedule time will be approximately 4 Years. The Master Plan is created along a central axis consisting of landscape open spaces and pedestrian network to link the academic and residential zones.
